Innovative Wall Print in Questions & Answers
What is Wall Print?
Wall Print is an innovative technology that allows us to print high-quality, intricate designs directly onto your walls. It's a new versatile alternative to traditional methods like painting or wallpapering.
How do I get my design onto my wall?
The process begins with a consultation where we discuss your ideas, preferences, and specifics of the space and the surface.
Then you select the design, yourself or together with our specialists.
Then our designers create high-resolution images.
After that our specialists come to your premises with the printer and translate the design onto your wall with meticulous attention to detail.
Which images can be printed?
You can print virtually any graphic, sketch, image, photo, text, logo or QR code!
You can find the desired design in Internet, create by yourself in any graphic design program or use your own photos or drawings.
Even paper artwork is perfectly printable! With a simple flatbed scanner, it is possible to achieve the desired results by scanning at the highest resolution. Processing and printing old originals, maps, drawings, postcards, sketches, photos or paintings work perfectly and the results are absolutely impressive. So it's just a few steps from any paper artwork to oversized artwork on wall!
Most suitable file formats are AI, EPS, TIF, PNG, JPG, BMP.
What can be the size of the image on the wall?
Printing height: from a couple of cm (e.g. logos, QR codes or text) to 4 m.
Print width: unlimited.
Due to the limitations of inkjet technology, there are margins in corners to adjacent walls, floor and ceiling. These are approx. 10 cm (3.3″) on the left, 10 cm (3.3″) on the right, 25 cm (9.8″) on the top, and 25 cm (9.8″) on the bottom.
Which substrates and materials can be printed on?
We use a very resistant, plastic-like UV ink that hardens immediately under the integrated UV curing lamps and can be used on almost all substrates. Thus, plaster, wallpaper, wood, brick, latex paints, stone, clinker, plastic, metal, glass, most tiles and many other materials can be printed without any problems.
Even natural stone, clinker or rough plaster can be printed without problems up to a contour depth of approx. 5 mm.
If the wall has significant irregularities a consultation with our specialists is recommended.
How long does the wall printing process take?
The wall printing process runs rather fast.
The duration of the process depends on the size and the complexity of the design.
If the surface is prepared for printing, the printing process takes about 30 minutes per 1 m2.
Assembly and dismounting of the printer in your premises is fast too and takes about 30 minutes.
Can I remove a wall print again?
Yes, of course! On glass with a ceramic hob scraper or razor blade. Otherwise, a print can always be painted over in two or three layers.
Only on wood must be sanded or - as with metal or concrete - sandblasting or glass bead blasting.
Does wall printing damage the wall(s) in any way?
No, wall printing does not cause any damage to the wall.
If you want to change or remove the design all you have to do is simply paint right over it.
Are wall prints safe for children and pets?
Yes, our wall printing technology uses non-toxic instant drying inks that do not smell and are safe for people, animals, and the environment.
Does my wall / surface have to be white?
No. We use innovative technologies that make it possible to get bright natural images on surfaces of any color.
The colors of the image will not be different form the original file even if the wall is black.
